New York rockers The Strokes have posted the first part in their 'making of' series, which chronicles the recording of upcoming studio album, 'Angles'.
The quintet have spent the previous months holed up in guitarist Albert Hammond Jr.'s home studio recording a follow-up to 2006's 'First Impressions of Earth'.
Subsequently, the band posted a new video on their website entitled, 'Making of Angles: EP1', which oversees the various stages of recording.
Bass player Nikolai Fraiture told Clashmusic.com last month that the new album would be a return to an earlier sound.
"Sonically, I feel it's the album which should have been made between 'Room on Fire' and 'First Impressions of Earth'," he said.
Killyourstereo reported earlier in the month, the release of new single 'Under Cover of Darkness'.
'Angles' is due out March 22nd via RCA/Rough trade.
